When you use Cashfes, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, phone number, email address, pickup address and payment details, as well as information about the device you're selling — brand, model, storage and condition.
- Account information: name, phone number, email address
- Pickup information: address, city, pincode, preferred time slot
- Payment information: UPI ID or bank account details for payouts
- Device information: brand, model, storage, condition and photos you submit
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Cashfes service — generating price estimates, coordinating pickups, processing payments, and communicating with you about your order.
- To calculate an accurate valuation for your device
- To schedule and coordinate doorstep pickups
- To process payments to your bank account or UPI ID
- To send order updates, receipts and support communication
- To improve our pricing engine and prevent fraud
3. Data Security & Device Wipes
We take the security of your personal data seriously, both the data we hold about you and the data stored on the device you sell. Every device collected by Cashfes undergoes a certified multi-pass data wipe before resale or recycling, and you receive a digital confirmation once the wipe is complete.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with pickup partners (your name, address and contact number) solely to complete your pickup, and with payment processors to complete your payout. We may also share information when required by law.
5. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting our support team. You may also opt out of marketing communications while continuing to receive essential order updates.
